Tuesday Night Rides
Tuesday night rides are mainly local to the Amber Valley area, within easy travelling distance and start at 7.00pm. All routes are off-road, and last between 1.5 to 2 hour duration. All rides start and finish at a local pub with good parking. The rides require a fair level of physical fitness and MTB ability, as all routes contain some technical climbs and descents. All the routes are given a categorisation as per our ride list on the rides tab. The rides go ahead no matter the weather or conditions, plus a good set of lights will be required from September to March. Monthly Sunday Rides
DVATC weekend club rides take place on the second Sunday of each month. The routes for these rides may require some travel, with the most common locations being within the Peak District. Rides are planned for 4 to 6 hours, and will require a relatively high level of physical fitness and ability. Most of the routes have challenging technical sections suitable for experienced riders. The technical sections could include steep rocky descents, with unavoidable obstacles such as large steps, gaps and drop-offs. Routes will be changed on the day in the case of bad weather. .
